January 11, 2023 Update
I've swapped out the trackpad for an internal battery with a few small clips to hold it in. I have a few final changes that I want to make, but I should be able to start printing the first prototype soon.

Diy Laptop
I'm in the process of designing a fully diy laptop that uses off-the-shelf parts and 3D printing to make a fully-functional laptop. At the moment it's just a TinkerCAD project and a few parts scattered around my desk, but I plan to start building my first prototype soon.

It will be powered by a Khadas Vim 4 single-board computer. I have the design mostly finalized, but I still need to rearrange some of the internal components a bit. The goal of this project is to design a device that only needs a 3D printer and a screwdriver to assemble and has a form factor that is closer to an actual laptop instead of a brick like most other designs.
